So an administrator joins the two rows by time alone, and the inner row reads as a person's REST call for an invocation an agent started.

forwarded_fromin its metadata. This is a hint, not a surface: a forged mark mislabels the hint and nothing else, and the inner row'ssurface: reststays true. - A test that pins both fields on an MCP → api → action-route forward.

recordActionInvocation is awaited on the answer path of every action call, so one ledger insert sits in front of each response. The auth-event sink does the same, so it is the house pattern. If action latency ever becomes a measured complaint, the row could be written after the answer returns (fire-and-report). There is nothing to do until then; it is recorded here so the option is not lost.
