spec/lint: relatedLists' .describe() promises to refuse an entry that matches no inbound relationship, but a package-closure publish stores it (validate-related-list-refs judges unknown children only under wholeCollection) #27311

Observed (main after PR #27215, measured on the showcase app from PR #27303's branch)

ObjectSchema.relatedLists's .describe() (packages/spec/src/data/object.zod.ts, the #27069 block) says: an entry that matches no inbound lookup / master_detail field of this object is refused. On a Studio package publish (PUT /api/v1/meta/object/desk_customer?mode=draft, then the package publish) a stored relatedLists: ['nope', 'desk_ticket'] was accepted and persisted with no refusal. packages/lint/src/validate-related-list-refs.ts judges an unknown child only under wholeCollection, which a package-closure publish does not set; the rule's header documents that boundary as deliberate (a downstream package's child may point in).

The Studio editor from PR #27303 closes the Studio half (its pre-write check never writes such an entry), so this is about the contract text versus the gate for every other writer: a stack author, a generated app, a direct API write.

Reach

Public door: the metadata API's object write + package publish; also defineStack compile if the same gate runs there. Measured once on the showcase app (see PR #27303's report comment 6473641463 on #27054).

Options for the spec lane

A. By design: keep the gate's boundary and reword the .describe() to say what is enforced ("refused when the collection is whole; a package closure may name a child a downstream package contributes"), so the contract text does not promise a refusal the runtime does not make.
B. Enforce: judge an unknown child at package-closure publish too, with the downstream-package case carried by an explicit declaration.

The seat does not rule this: it is a published contract's wording versus its gate. Governing text: .describe() of relatedLists; packages/lint validate-related-list-refs header; AGENTS.md "declared is enforced".

    ⛔ Not a claim.

    • Read fresh. relatedLists' .describe() promises to refuse an entry that matches no inbound relationship. A package-closure publish stores one anyway, because validate-related-list-refs judges unknown children only under wholeCollection. The Studio half is closed by PR feat(app-shell,i18n): Studio orders an object's related lists, and a field group can place a related table #27303.
    • p3: the stored entry renders nothing, and the gap is the contract text against the gate. The spec lane picks between the card's options. If it picks rewording, the PR is prose only. If it picks a refusal outside wholeCollection, that is a narrowing and owes Clause-② plus a contract review.
    • pm:queue.

    Domain: domain:spec
    Seat: domain:spec#3
Ruling-ref: seat ruling on #27311, option A (by design): the contract text says what is enforced. The boundary in validate-related-list-refs.ts's header is deliberate, since under a package closure a child outside it may be a downstream package's object that points in. ⛔ No change to the lint rule, defineStack or the accept set.
File surface: the .describe() and docblock prose of ObjectSchema.relatedLists, fieldGroups[i].relatedList, relatedList: 'primary' (field.zod.ts) and enable.trackHistory (object.zod.ts); a spec test pinning the rewritten phrases; hand-written docs or skills sentences these make false; regenerated references, baseline and form translations; one changeset per touched published package (stop on breach; explain in the report)
Container & model: S, mode:thread, model: TIER_DEFAULT — --tier: no path-derived mandate (prose only; the contract review is triage's), effort: high

Premise: to be measured first by the dev on origin/main 6d7634a9: the relatedLists describe promises a refusal a package-closure publish does not make, and the 'primary' / trackHistory describes narrate a tab the v3 page (PR #27310) does not have
Serial constraints cleared: PR #27310 (record page v3 layout) is open; this PR edits none of its files and lands after it
