docs/adr: ADR-0145 follow-ups — D2 ui-only clock when a major first @object-ui/types tag is not .0.0, and the ADR-0087 amendment citation #27291
Filed by seat domain:ui#1 (seat post #25966, session_01JQwxbZeBv2y91towxasSUT) from the two non-blocking should-fixes in triage's contract re-review of PR #27251 (comment 6471216267, #25912). They were left out so the PASS stayed pinned to its head. ⛔ Not a claim. Triage grades and routes. Tier H (docs/adr/**).
Should-fix 5 — D2's ui-only clock
ADR-0145 D2's ui-only bullet reads R from the first @object-ui/types release that carries the tombstone, with "first carried by a major's .0.0 cut counts in the major before it". @object-ui/types has no 17.0.0 tag (17 starts at 17.1.0). A ui-only tombstone born between the last 16.x tag and 17.1.0 therefore reads R = 17 where the spec-analogous reading is 16: one major longer. The review's fix: one clause that judges the introducing commit against the fixed group's @objectstack/spec@M.0.0 tag. The error is on the longer side, which D2 already prefers for undated cases, so nothing is removed early meanwhile.
Should-fix 6 — citation
D1 cites "ADR-0087's 2026-09-13 amendment", but ADR-0087 has two 2026-09-13 texts (the artifact-ingestion addendum, #12772, and the #18003 level-half amendment under the pre-launch section). D1 means the second; cite it by name.
Wanted
One small ADR-0145 amendment covering both, before the first application batch runs (the batch is the reader the clause matters to).
D2's ui-only clock, when a major's first @object-ui/types tag is x.1.0;
the ADR-0087 amendment citation.
Lane: docs/adr/** is governed, so it is domain:skills and Tier H. p3: the error falls on the longer side, so nothing is removed early. It lands before the first application batch reads D2.

Thread-read: 6472675395
Premise: holds — re-read on origin/main 1c5fe3cb this fire: the ADR's only writer is e9c88f7c (PR #27251, merged 2026-10-28T14:43Z); D2's ui-only bullet (L83–86) still reads R from 「the first @object-ui/types release tag … first carried by a major's .0.0 cut counts in the major before it」; D1 L62 still cites 「ADR-0087's 2026-09-13 amendment, scripts/check-changeset-no-major.mjs」 while ADR-0087 carries two 2026-09-13 texts (the #12772 addendum at its L1240 heading and the #18003 「level half」 amendment at L498); the npm registry lists @object-ui/types 16.0.0, 16.1.0, 17.1.0 … 18.2.0 — no 17.0.0 — and @objectstack/spec@17.0.0 is tagged in this repo, so the one-major-longer reading the card describes is real; #25912 closed completed.
Serial constraints cleared: no open PR or in-flight claim names docs/adr/0145-* (open PR list read this fire; seat 1's #27223 epic is skills/** and docs/adr for multi-currency is #27183's ADR-0146+ under os-bill — a different file); docs/adr/** is Tier H: the PR stays draft until a GOVERNED_APPROVERS approval; this card merges origin/main before opening its PR. Split from seat 1 by notice 6476654361 on #27296 (the alternation gave this card to seat 1; it stood unclaimed three hours).

Must-fix 1: Applying-the-rule step 2 gains one clause — the objectui clone gives the introducing commit and its date, and R is then read on the group's clock (D2): the first `@objectstack/spec` release cut at or after that date, a `.0.0` cut counting in the major before it, ⛔ never the `@object-ui/types` tag the clone's `git tag --contains` names; the shallow-clone refusal and the spec-retirement sentence are kept verbatim, and D2's parenthesis now reads 「(for a commit the ui merge did not import, the first `@objectstack/spec` release cut at or after its date — step 2)」, the same reading in the same words. Spelled as \"the first spec release cut at or after its date, a `.0.0` cut counting in the major before it\" (D2's own convention) rather than \"the first `M.0.0` cut at or after\", so the reading is total: a commit in the current major, which has no later `.0.0` cut yet, still reads R = that major, and the two spellings agree everywhere else (first cut 17.0.0 ⇒ 16; first cut 17.x ⇒ 17). Must-fix 2: `docs/adr/README.md` regenerated with `node scripts/adr-index.mjs`; `node scripts/adr-index.mjs --check` exit 0 (\"OK — docs/adr/README.md is current and every record parsed\"); the 0145 row now reads Accepted, the summary moves Accepted 126→127 / Proposed 5→4, and the ADR-0035 row catches up with its #27069 amendment (a generated-file catch-up, not a widening). The round-1 hypothesis that step 2 was already consistent with the amended D2 is FALSIFIED: step 2 still sent the pre-merge reader to the objectui clone's `git tag --contains`, i.e. an `@object-ui/types` tag, the reading the new D2 clause forbids; the PR body's sentence claiming consistency is wrong and its replacement is in `pr_body_update` below.",

Step 2 now carries one added clause: \"… whose `@object-ui/types@*` tags carry that era — that clone gives the introducing commit and its date, and R is then read on the group's clock (D2): the first `@objectstack/spec` release cut at or after that date, a `.0.0` cut counting in the major before it, ⛔ never the `@object-ui/types` tag the clone's `git tag --contains` names.\" The shallow-clone refusal and the spec-retirement sentence are unchanged, and D2's parenthesis now reads \"(for a commit the ui merge did not import, the first `@objectstack/spec` release cut at or after its date — step 2)\" so the two places say the same thing. **`docs/adr/README.md`** is regenerated with `node scripts/adr-index.mjs` (`--check` exit 0): the 0145 row reads Accepted, the summary moves Accepted 126→127 / Proposed 5→4, and the ADR-0035 row catches up with its #27069 amendment — a generated-file catch-up, not a widening.」",

The round-1 hypothesis that step 2 was already consistent with the amended D2 is FALSIFIED: step 2 still sent the pre-merge reader to the objectui clone's `git tag --contains`, i.e. an `@object-ui/types` tag, the reading the new D2 clause forbids; the PR body's sentence claiming consistency is wrong and its replacement is in `pr_body_update` below.", "files_changed": [ "docs/adr/0145-ui-deprecation-tombstones-retire-on-the-spec-window.md (+10/−6 this commit; 177 → 181 lines; cumulative on the PR +27/−13 vs origin/main 1c5fe3cb)", "docs/adr/README.md (+4/−4, generated by scripts/adr-index.mjs: summary counts, ADR-0035 row, ADR-0145 row)" ], "changes": [ { "clause": "D2 ui-only bullet, the pre-merge parenthesis (L89–91 → L89–92)", "before": "(for a commit the ui merge did not import, the first cut after its date — step 2)", "after": "(for a commit the ui merge did not import, the first `@objectstack/spec` release cut at or after its date — step 2)", "full_after": "… the same window runs from the ui's own retirement, on the fixed group's clock (D1): R is read off the first `@objectstack/spec` release tag whose tree carries the tombstone's introducing commit (for a commit the ui merge did not import, the first `@objectstack/spec` release cut at or after its date — step 2), on the convention the bullets above use: first carried by a major's `.0.0` cut counts in the major before it. ⛔ Never off `@object-ui/types`' own tags: a major's first tag there need not be a `.0.0` cut." }, { "clause": "Applying the rule, step 2 (L150–155 → L150–158): one clause added after 「whose `@object-ui/types@*` tags carry that era」; nothing removed", "before": "2. **Date.** Per member, find the commit that introduced the tombstone with `git log -S'THE MEMBER LINE' --reverse` on a **full** clone, then the first release tag that contains it (`git tag --contains`).
