    The #27155 dev measured two more surfaces that carry the retired presentation. The seat ruled both out of #27155 and sends them here:

    • The page block object-form (packages/spec/src/ui/component.zod.ts, around L6847) declares its own formType with all six values, plus split / drawer / modal props. Its reader is the renderer this card edits.
    • The React ObjectForm block contract (react-blocks.ts dataProps) reads FormViewSchema's splitDirection, drawerSide and drawerWidth. Once SplitForm retires here, decide which of them still have a live reader on a surviving formType. A change that moves skills/objectstack-ui/references/react-blocks.md makes the PR governed (Tier H).

    Narrowing either surface makes this PR a spec narrowing too: declare Clause-②: no (narrowing) and Metadata-protocol: narrowed, use tombstones with prescriptions that match #27155's (live values only, since #26804 already retired navigation.mode: 'split'), and run the contract review a narrowing owes.

    What #27155 lands, so this card does not repeat it: the FormViewSchema.type narrowing, section.pane, splitSize, splitResizable, and the showcase task view re-spelling. The drawer keys also sit on #27153.

    The blocker #27155 landed: PR #27229 merged at 2026-10-28T12:16Z, merge commit 14e9685fc9, on origin/main. FormViewSchema.type now accepts only simple / tabbed / wizard, and splitDirection, drawerSide and drawerWidth stay in the spec for this card's renderer work. The two carriers the #27155 review found (block-config.ts ~:188-196, ui/content/docs/api/schema-reference.md ~:898) and scope notes 1 and 2 above still stand. pm:blocked → pm:queue here; the ui lane dispatches it. ⛔ Not a claim.

The spec half #27155 landed as PR #27229 (14e9685fc9, 12:16Z): FormViewSchema.type is now simple | tabbed | wizard. DrawerForm and ModalForm stay as containers the caller supplies, and the #1890 layout forwarding stays. Scope notes 6465248799 and 6468180697 (spec seat 3) are part of this card; read both in full.

    PM mechanism assumptions (measure; disproof welcome)

    On origin/main 9c121400 (read-only check):

    • ui/packages/plugin-form/src/ObjectForm.tsx imports SplitForm and DrawerForm (L41–42) and branches on schema.formType === 'split' (≈L535) and === 'drawer' (≈L569), with a modal arm nearby. SplitForm.tsx is the only split module.
    • Call sites pass a container formType into ObjectForm: ui/packages/app-shell/src/console/AppContent.tsx ≈L1496/1513 ('modal') and ui/packages/app-shell/src/hooks/useActionModal.tsx ≈L280 ('modal'). FormPage.tsx ≈L811 forwards form.type, which is now never split, drawer or modal.
    • The page block object-form still declares formType: z.enum([...6 values]) at packages/spec/src/ui/component.zod.ts ≈L6887, plus split, drawer and modal props. Its reader is this renderer. react-blocks.ts dataProps reads splitDirection, drawerSide and drawerWidth.
    • Carriers named in scope note 2: ui/packages/app-shell/src/views/metadata-admin/previews/block-config.ts ≈L188–196 (the inspector offers the block's six values), ui/content/docs/api/schema-reference.md ≈L898 (claims alignment with FormViewSchema.type), and the .describe() strings of the kept FormViewSchema keys modalSize, splitDirection and drawerSide.

    PM suggested route (optional; measurement wins)

    1. Remove the split branch, the SplitForm module, its tests and stories, and the section.pane readers left in plugin-form. Keep DrawerForm and ModalForm as containers. Switch the two 'modal' call sites to the container-plus-layout spelling, so that no caller needs ObjectForm to choose a container.
    2. The block formType: narrow the object-form block's enum to what still has a reader, with tombstones whose prescriptions match feat(spec,app-shell)!: a form view's type is its layout only — simple, tabbed or wizard; split, drawer and modal are retired with pane, splitSize and splitResizable #27229's. CONTROL: a block authored with a retired formType is refused with the prescription.

    Serial: open draft PR #27206 (spec seat, #25923, Tier H) edits component.zod.ts, react-blocks.ts, view.zod.ts and react-blocks.md. Keep your spec hunks to the object-form block and the three describes. If #27206 lands first, merge origin/main and regenerate (no hand-merge of generated files).     Measured by the dev, accepted by the seat:

    • AppContent.tsx and useActionModal.tsx already mount ModalForm directly; their formType: 'modal' is ModalFormSchema's own literal. No call-site change is owed, and both files leave the surface.
    • drawer and modal stay live on the page object-form block. The showcase React pages task-desk.page.ts and renewals-pipeline.page.ts author them, lint rule-explanations prescribes them, and no DrawerForm / ModalForm React block exists. So ObjectForm drops all three arms as ruled, and the block renderer supplies the container through a new internal ObjectFormContainer. The block narrows split only (the value, section.pane, splitDirection / splitSize / splitResizable). FormView.splitDirection retires, because SplitForm was its only reader. drawerSide / drawerWidth keep a live reader. Say so on spec(ui): FormViewSchema declares drawerSide / drawerWidth and buttons.reset, but no console entry point renders a drawer form or a reset button; implement or retire them (ADR-0049) #27153 in the PR body.
