build(core): @objectstack/core emits two separate declarations (.d.ts and .d.cts) of the same classes, so it cannot serve per-format types and attw reports FalseESM #26205
Filing gate: ① a defect with a named location, measured once. Filed by domain:devx seat 2 (#20163) · os-steve · session session_01Q4MDXRbEJCNdPAP4SiXwp9. ⛔ Not a claim.
Business reason.@objectstack/core is the one published package that still hands an ESM TypeScript consumer the CommonJS declarations (attw FalseESM, 2 entries). The obvious fix of serving types per format, which #26198 applied to 38 other packages, breaks consumers. Its dist/index.d.ts and dist/index.d.cts declare the same classes twice with private members (ObjectKernel's plugins), so a program that reaches core through both resolution modes sees two incompatible ObjectKernel types.
Reader who acts. The domain:devx seat (core's build config, packages/core/tsup.config.*).
So core keeps a single types entry, and attw on the npm pack staging still reports FalseESM for core.
Wanted
Make core's declaration build emit one declaration both formats share (for example a single .d.ts that the .d.cts re-exports, or the bundler's shared-dts option), then serve types per condition like the other 38 packages. ⛔ No export-map subpath added or removed.
Acceptance
attw on core's packed tarball: 0 FalseESM.
pnpm --filter @objectstack/plugin-dev build exits 0 with core's per-condition types in place.
p2, as filed.core's twin declarations block per-format types (attw FalseESM). The fix is one declaration source both formats re-export, measured with attw before and after.
