resources/meta.ja.json already matches the English pages list. Same rules as PRs 1–6 (docs/TRANSLATION.md): English heading ids, fences byte for byte, glossary ja column, UI labels in English, one line per paragraph, each page stamped. English source: about 1,430 lines.

The branch carries one -s ours merge of the landed #401 branch head so the push fast-forwards; the diff against main is only these 4 files.

Tests

Measured on PR 6's tree plus these 4 files, which is the same tree as main 68921f9 plus this commit, with a NEXT_PRIVATE_STANDALONE=true build:

• Worker upload (wrangler deploy --dry-run): 43,949.36 KiB (gzip 8,565.28), against the 61,440 KiB budget, leaving 17,491 KiB. PR 6 measured 43,262.29 KiB the same way; these 4 pages add about 687 KiB (the changelog is long). Each translated page adds about 172 KiB to the Worker upload, so full ja coverage (#388) would exceed Cloudflare's 64 MiB Worker limit #395 projected full ja at 43,699 KiB with English stand-ins.
• Per-page table on this build: ja 98 pages at 79.14 KiB per page.
• check-translations.mjs: passed; ja 0 stale, 0 missing (was 4). zh-Hans stays 0/0.
• check-translation-output.mjs --files <list of these 4>: blocking on 4, no findings.
• check-locale-surface.mjs: passes.
• check-search-locales.mjs: all 8 locales answer 200, find their own pages by title and find nothing for a nonce.
• check-search-heap.mjs: every locale asked twice; the heap stayed under 100 MB and stopped growing.
• Rendered check (Playwright against next start of this build): /ja/docs/resources/faq, /changelog, /glossary and /support answer 200 with lang="ja", ja titles (よくある質問, 変更履歴とバージョン管理, 用語集, サポート), the ja sidebar, English heading ids (getting-started, versioning-policy, action, where-to-go-for-what) and 0 page or console errors. Bold, links and blockquotes in the changelog were checked against the parsed Markdown: no emphasis is left unparsed.
