Newer Codex clients request Daybreak with a base model and access_programs.cyber. That bypassed existing gpt-daybreak-*-latest account pins and sent requests to an account without Daybreak access, leaving both new and existing chats hanging.

Resolve Blue and Red access programs through their existing Daybreak pins across HTTP, HTTP bridges, and direct WebSockets. Preserve base-model pins when no Daybreak pin is configured, standard routing, strict ownership checks, and the forwarded request body. Extend regression coverage for routing precedence, failures, escaped/duplicate/nested selectors, compression, chunking, and spooling.

Validated with 346 affected proxy tests, all-target Clippy with warnings denied, formatting, and an optimized build. The signed local replacement completed fresh Daybreak Blue turns, follow-ups, and a fork of the formerly hanging chat's history; the user also confirmed the original chat works.
