I'd love to see NextCloud Talk get support for stickers and sticker packs like on Telegram. It's such a fun way to communicate with others and gives users the ability to be creative and make their own custom stickers too!
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be awesome to see a sticker solution that works very similar to Telegram and Discord. Something where users can easily upload their own custom images and create sticker packs, and other peoples sticker packs can be clicked on and added to your personal collection.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternatives could be just sending images but it's awesome to have them at the ready and organised into packs, and stickers allow for fun interactions like having clever animations or dragging and dropping onto chat bubbles like in iMessage.
I think this idea may have been somewhat underestimated.
Adding sticker packs to Nextcloud Talk could significantly improve the user experience. Recently, the ability to generate AI stickers through Nextcloud Assistant and Smart Picker was introduced, but this functionality is currently available only in the web app. This greatly limits the number of users who can interact with it. Additionally, generating stickers on demand is not always the most efficient use of server resources.
There are already several good examples of sticker pack implementations:
FluffyChat (a Matrix client) allows users to upload ZIP archives as sticker packs, making custom sticker management simple and user-friendly.
Telegram provides a very powerful sticker system. While it can sometimes be excessive, the ability to easily discover and use shared sticker packs is extremely convenient.
Discord uses a relatively simple sticker system tied to individual servers, which works well without adding too much complexity.
I understand that implementing sticker packs in Talk is not a trivial task, especially considering synchronization, storage, permissions, and client support. However, I believe it would be a valuable feature that could make conversations feel much more expressive and enjoyable across all platforms.

Just my two cents, but the primary reason my family would never use this is the lack of sticker support. For businesses I can't see much benefit to adding it, but for personal use it would convert me (as well as my family) to Talk very quickly.

I really feel this would be a great addition, even provided stickerpacks on server level so server Admins can manage/create serverwide stickerpacks
