Description
⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
- This is not a troubleshooting question, general support matter, or webserver/proxy problem, but likely a bug (if unsure, ask the Community Help Forum).
- This issue is not already reported on Github OR solved at the Community Help Forum (I've searched!).
- I'm using a maintained major version of Nextcloud Server and tested against the latest patch level. (Supported major versions and current patch levels).
- I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.
- I've tried my best to provide clear reproduction steps that someone unfamiliar with this bug could use to reproduce it.
Bug description
When adding a comment to a file in Nextcloud Files, the newly added comment appears immediately in the Comments sidebar.
However, after reloading the page, the previously added comments disappear from the UI because the existing comments are not fetched automatically when the Comments component is initialized.
The comments are displayed correctly immediately after submission, but they are missing after a page reload.

Steps to reproduce
- Log in to Nextcloud.
- Navigate to the Files application.
- Select a file and open its details sidebar.
- Open the Comments tab.
- Add a new comment to the file.
- Verify that the newly added comment appears in the comments list.
- Reload the browser page.
- Open the same file's Comments tab again.
- Observe that the previously added comment is missing from the UI.
Expected behavior
Comments added to a file should remain visible after reloading the page.
When opening the Comments tab, Nextcloud should automatically fetch the existing comments associated with the selected file from the server and display them in the comments list.
