The AddCommand uses Question::setHidden(true) which triggers Symfony's TerminalInputHelper. That helper calls stty -g to save terminal state, then stty <saved-state> to restore. Under PHPUnit that stty <saved-state> call fails (hence "invalid argument"), leaves the real terminal with echo disabled and corrupted, so your shell becomes unusable.
