Version 27.0.1 (22625.1.29.11.28)

Describe the Bug

See screenshot below.

I cannot be more specific about the Nextcloud Assistant or Nextcloud server version used. It is the current deployment on our own corporate instance (cloud.nextcloud.com) as off writing (2026-10-07 08:49 UTC).

Image

Important: When I tried this, the configured model used for the conversion was apparently unavailable. After admins switching to Kokoro, I cannot reproduce this anymore because no percentage appears to be presented anymore. 🤔

Expected Behavior

Anything from "0 %" to "99 %" progress ("100 %" means finished and should no longer result in a progress indication).

To Reproduce

  1. Open Nextcloud Assistant
  2. Open "Work with audio"
  3. Click "New task"
  4. Paste the quoted text below into the transcript to generate speech from
  5. Click "Generate speech"

So, what is the difference between a green kiwi and a yellow one? Well, there are a few things to think about.

First, appearance. A green kiwi has that familiar brown, fuzzy outside, and when you cut it open, you see bright green flesh with tiny black seeds around a white center. A yellow kiwi, sometimes called a gold kiwi, is smoother on the outside, with almost no fuzz at all. And inside, the flesh is a golden yellow color, again with small dark seeds.

Now, flavor, which is probably the biggest difference. A green kiwi has a nice balance of tart and sweet, with a kind of citrusy, grape like taste. A yellow kiwi, on the other hand, is noticeably sweeter, with far less tartness. People often say it tastes a bit like banana, mango, or even strawberry, with a hint of honey.

As for nutrition, they are both great for you. Both are packed with vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. That said, yellow kiwis tend to have a little more vitamin C and vitamin K per fruit. And green kiwis contain more of an enzyme called actinidin, which is why people sometimes use them to tenderize meat.

When it comes to size and texture, green kiwis are usually a bit larger and firmer. Yellow kiwis are smaller, and they tend to be slightly softer when ripe, with a more jammy feel to the flesh.

And one last thing. Green kiwis are the long time standard, available pretty much year round. Yellow kiwis came to the market a bit more recently and tend to be best during the spring and summer months.

So, the simple answer is this. If you like something tangy and zingy, go for the green one. If you prefer something sweeter and a little more tropical, go for the yellow one. Both are delicious and both are good for you, they are just different flavor experiences.

    Thanks for the issue!
The issue may also be coming from integration_openai but should be handled in assistant too I think.

Thanks for the clear issue. #685 should prevent this from happening.
