Summary

  • Update nasty-go to the same merged commit used by CSI v0.0.12: 29fb4acdf10d.
  • Upgrade Kubernetes api/apimachinery/client-go together from v0.35.3 to v0.37.1.
  • Upgrade fatih/color v1.18.0 → v1.19.0 and go-pretty/v6 v6.7.8 → v6.8.3, plus required transitive dependencies. Select stable Protobuf v1.36.12 rather than the prerelease required by the new Kubernetes module graph.
  • Raise the minimum Go patch from 1.26.1 to 1.26.2 as required by nasty-go; retain the Go 1.26 family.
  • Implement IsConnected in the test mock to satisfy the updated client interface. No production command code changes.
  • Pin CI/release nasty-go checkouts to the module commit and remove the unnecessary PAT for the public repository. Retain existing local/CI replace conventions.

Compatibility

This is maintenance, not a required CSI health migration: the plugin queries NASty directly and does not consume CSI VolumeCondition RPC fields.

Validation

  • Race-enabled full package tests passed on both the local toolchain and minimum Go 1.26.2.
  • go vet passed.
  • Exact CI golangci-lint v2.11.4 with Go 1.26.2: 0 issues for both macOS and Linux analysis.
  • Linux amd64/arm64, macOS amd64/arm64, and Windows amd64 builds passed.
  • Native CLI --help smoke test passed.
  • actionlint (shellcheck disabled) and git diff --check passed.
  • Newer local golangci-lint v2.13.1 reports 17 repeated-string findings in untouched command files; no linter upgrade or unrelated cleanup is included.
  • Live NASty/Kubernetes operations were not tested; GitHub CI runs on this branch/PR.

No plugin version tag or release has been published.
