The built-in teams are now starter, workshop (a rig bundle) and factory, plus the specialist teams code-review, research and pm. README, getting-started, the rig-spec reference, setup's next steps, context help, the openrig-user, openrig-architect and openrig-software-factory skills, and the capability map now say those names. first-project appears only as starter's old name. Starter is a Claude builder and a Codex reviewer, so text that sent a Codex-only reader to first-project now points them to the kernel operator, which adapts the team to their providers.

secrets-manager stays built in and unchanged in 0.6.6; only factory-rsi moves out. Restore its README line and its rig-spec shipped-examples row, worded with the new team names.

Approved at e04515c. Every shipped page, skill, help string and onboarding asset that named the old built-in teams now offers starter (a Claude builder and a Codex reviewer), workshop (a rig bundle from /rigs) and factory, plus the code-review, research and pm shelf, with the approved seat addresses. first-project appears once per file as starter's old name, and a Codex-only reader is pointed to the kernel operator, which adapts the team, instead of being told to swap names. secrets-manager stays listed as built in. The skill mirrors and edge digests are regenerated for the changed shared skills, and setup's printed next steps and their test are updated together.

The built-in teams are now
starter, workshop(a rig bundle) andfactory, plus the specialist teamscode-review,researchandpm(#864). This updates the shipped text that still named the old teams, so every page, skill, help string and onboarding asset offers the same teams the kernel operator does (#862).What changed
README.mdanddocs/reference/getting-started.md: the team table is starter, workshop and factory. Commands userig up starter,dev-build@starteranddev-review@starter. The permissive-operation example uses a copiedstarterspec, and its Codex profile goes ondev.review, starter's Codex seat.docs/reference/rig-spec.md: the shipped-examples table lists starter, factory, code-review, research, pm and secrets-manager. A stale "implementation-pair skill" line in an example spec now says "Read your guidance and begin."docs/reference/chain-file-convention.md(factory ships the topology defaults now) anddocs/reference/sdlc-conventions.md(pm).packages/cli/src/commands/setup.ts: the next steps name starter, workshop and factory, and say the operator adapts a team for one provider.packages/cli/test/setup.test.tsis updated to match.packages/cli/src/commands/context.tshelp examples andscripts/vm-bootstrap/two-daemon-start.shusefactory.openrig-user(a 0.6.6 note beside its v0.3.x history),openrig-architect, andopenrig-software-factorywith its worked example (addresses, rig name, and the builder's--runtime claude-code).context-packs-src/onboarding-width/public-what-you-can-do.md: the first-change paragraph.context7.json: install prerequisites. The one fact that isn't a rename:
first-projectwas two Codex agents, andstarteris a Claude builder plus a Codex reviewer. So the text no longer tells a Codex-only reader to runfirst-project. It points them to the kernel operator, which writes an adapted copy of the team for their providers.first-projectappears only as starter's old name.Left on purpose
