Cold Case is a self-contained noir detective game. Every case is generated from a shareable seed, with a unique and logically provable culprit.
Open index.html in any modern browser. Start a case, search each room for evidence, question the suspects, connect cards on the evidence board, and make an accusation. You need to select the culprit and at least one clue that directly contradicts their alibi.
The seed appears throughout the game. Reopen a particular case with ?seed=your-seed in the URL. Your active case and progress are saved automatically in local storage.
There is no install or build step and no network dependency. Double-click index.html, or publish these three web files to GitHub Pages.
