Run Claude triage when
ai: needs-triageis added to an issue. New human replies retrigger only for the issue author, repository collaborators, or org members, whileai: needs-triageorai: triagedis present.Ignore bot replies, unrelated commenters, edited comments, and PR events. Pass the triggering comment ID as the discussion cutoff. Inherit the shared label defaults; automated fixes remain disabled.
Pinned to mui/mui-public@4512ed4 (mui/mui-public#1944, merged). The label and Anthropic variables are configured. Label automation needs an App token or PAT.
Deployment prerequisite: Update the Anthropic federation rule to allow both events with CEL
claims.event_name in ["issues", "issue_comment"], replacing the exactevent_name: issue_commentcondition. Separate claim conditions are ANDed. Preserve subject, repository-owner, and audience restrictions. Otherwise label-triggered token exchange fails with401/match_claim_value_mismatch. See the original triage PR.Validation: actionlint, formatting, 18 trigger scenarios, and 24 shared-default authorization scenarios passed. Live Actions execution remains unverified.
