In `@index.d.ts`:
- Line 2: Update the type imports in the declaration so `Options` is imported
from `@kikobeats/got/dist/source/core`, then use that named type for `gotOpts`;
retain the default `Got` import for the `got` property.

got@11 is unmaintained and breaks on Node.js 24.20 (nodejs/node#64847): a retried connection error rejects with ERR_SOCKET_CLOSED_BEFORE_CONNECTION and then crashes the process with uncaught exceptions. @kikobeats/got is got@11 with that fix backported. The default export is the got value, so Got.Options (no namespace) and got?: Got (value used as type) both failed to compile for consumers. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

<search_synthesis>
There is no package named @kikobeats/got in the public npm registry. It is likely you are referring to the popular HTTP request library got [1][2] or the @kikobeats/got-scraping extension [3]. The package named got is a widely used, human-friendly HTTP request library for Node.js [1][4]. While Kiko Beats (a developer) is a known user and advocate of the got library [1][5], the library itself is maintained by sindresorhus [1][4]. Alternatively, you may be thinking of @kikobeats/got-scraping, which is a package maintained by the @kikobeats organization (and previously associated with Apify) [3][6]. This package is an extension built on top of got, specifically designed for web scraping with features like browser-like headers and proxy support [3][6][7]. As of 2026, @kikobeats/got-scraping is deprecated and has reached its end-of-life (EOL) status [3][6][7].

Use a resolvable package source for @kikobeats/got. The repository .npmrc defines no private or custom registry, so a normal install uses the public npm registry. That registry contains no @kikobeats/got package or 11.8.8 release. Installation fails before index.js or index.d.ts can consume the dependency. Replace it with an available package and version, or configure the intended registry and lock the dependency to it.
