👋 Hi, I’m Marcus De Maria

⚡ In my Fourth and Final Year of Mechatronics Engineering of McMaster University (24 months of previous co-op experience)

  • I’m interested in optimization and performance of embedded engineered tools, analytics with data processing/testing, and automation on electro-mechanical design to showcase perfected, efficient, and technologically advanced results.

  • Previously an Engineering Intern at Welbilt Inc. and ALMAG Aluminum where I dealt with and worked on projects related to electromechanical design, manufacturing, CADing, automomation, and data acquistion/testing.

  • Engineering Analyst Intern at Celestica in the A&D VAVE department working on Testing and Design from May 2025 - August 2026, and now a part time employee fully remote until April 2027 assisting the team.

Skills

🌱 Some of my favourite things to do include:

  • CADing in SOLIDWORKS or other random tools
  • Using SQL and Python to test and analyze datasets for various mechanisms
  • Programming and creating software engineered applications with C++, HTML, CSS, and Java
  • Going to the gym and vlogging!
  • Travelling
  • Exploring thrift stores and coffee shops around me :)
