New Project

Hello, everyone.
Sorry for no maintenance for a long time.
There wasn't enough time, and no motivations remained for Cordova.

I moved to a new Project, MapConductor, which is a wrapper library for Maps SDKs, not only Google Maps but also other Maps SDKs, like ArcGIS, Here, Mapbox, and more in the future.

I'm currently implementing for Jetpack Compose, but also planning to Swift as well.

Hi @wf9a5m75, will you support this plugin still or if not, will your new project support Cordova? I continued your plugin in my fork https://github.com/GitToTheHub/cordova-plugin-googlemaps-2 and added compatibility with cordova-ios 8 and Android 16 KB Support. Also I switched back to Cocoapods for iOS to use the latest SDK. You could merge everything if you want if you want to continue this.

Thank you for fork and maintain the project long time.
I really appreciate for your contribution.
However, I really don't want to touch my old code ...
(No architecture, Java, Obj-c..., Hmm)

Instead, I will bring back with MapConductor soon. ClaudeCode, Codex and I are working on now.
You can choose different maps SDKs with the same API, but they work on Cordova platform.
More powerful, more functional, and more flexible.
