Let the night decide the stone line; count per-day rules over the whole child stage - #86

… whole child stage Glimmerock now comes from growing up after sunset (its crystals light up at night), Bouldergrin from everything else; the quartz band shows it live, like the cloud line's bell shows the rain (#14). The rules "so often a day" become a total for the child stage: a day away is made up on the others, and waiting for the tap no longer raises the goal. Until the stage is over they ask for the share of the days so far, so the hint still shows whether the child is on its way. The ember stone shortens the stage and the total with it. Before: the stone line and the leaf line both grew up by petting alone, and every "so often a day" rule was an average over the days so far. A day away dropped the average, and putting off the tap made the goal grow, so waiting never helped.
After: the stone line is decided by the world at the moment it grows up, like the cloud line. Every per-day rule is now a total for the child stage. A day away can be made up on the other days, and once the stage is due the goal stops growing.
Spoiler: the stone line's rule
Glimmerock if the sun is down when the child grows up (its crystals light up at night), otherwise Bouldergrin. Since a sleeping pet can't evolve, this means after sunset and before bedtime. On a short summer evening the player can wake it at night, which costs a grumpy pebble. Pebblet's band shows the result live (lilac after dark).
How:
life.World(raining, dark) replaces therainingflag.model.worldAt()builds it from the weather andsun.isDark(), andapplyActionnow takes the location.decideSpeciesgets the stage length (life.childDays, shortened by the ember stone). A rule asks forperDay × min(days so far, stage length), so the hint still shows whether the child is on track. Docs:pets.md(folded) andgameplay.md. Tests incore/test/life.test.ts. Closes #14. #11 stays open as a collection of ideas.Generated by Claude Code
