⚠️ Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.Handle the result of
initializePersistedConfigIfMissingin the transient-config branch.Line 67 ignores the outcome of
initializePersistedConfigIfMissing. The function can return"exists"or"invalid". It can also throwInitialConfigPublicationErrorafter publication. When the outcome is
"exists", another writer created the file first.mutatePersistedConfigat Line 69 then runs on that file. This path is correct. When the function throws after publication, the error goes to the catch block at Line 78. That block reads back the snapshot and runs a strict check, so this path is also safe.
When the outcome is
"invalid",mutatePersistedConfigreturnsunavailableand the endpoint responds with 409. This is acceptable. However, the return value is never examined, so a later reader can easily miss these cases. Add a comment or an explicit branch that documents them.♻️ Make the outcome explicit

… (#6824) Explicit Codex account select, pin and clear now commit through the scoped persisted-config transaction, revalidate the target against the current disk snapshot, adopt the committed selection and its baseline, and only then reset routing. Previously a newer disk snapshot could win the following whole-config reconcile, so routing and authentication used a different account than the one the API reported. Carries #6813.
