No way to label a trace from outside the hook (operator tags) #62

The issue is deliberately written to stand alone — it argues the gap, explains why tags rather than metadata (the v3.212.0 API filters on tags but has no ?metadata=), points at their own codex-observability-plugin shipping LANGFUSE_CODEX_TAGS, and hands over the three implementation gotchas (import-time logging, dedup, the SKILL_TAGS gate) so they can implement it themselves without reading our diff. It closes by saying we're happy for it to be done however they prefer.

That framing is deliberate: on this repo, issues get implemented and external PRs don't, so the issue needs to work even if #61 is never merged.
