Why

The Pulumi provider is now published as kurrentcloud from kurrent-io/pulumi-kurrentcloud (v0.3.1), with Service Account login. The Cloud docs still describe the old eventstorecloud package, and the Service Accounts page says the Pulumi provider does not accept service account credentials. Part of CLO-612.

What

  • Pulumi page rewritten for kurrentcloud: the install command for each language (npm @kurrent/pulumi-kurrentcloud, PyPI pulumi_kurrentcloud, Go, NuGet Kurrent.Pulumi.KurrentCloud), plugin install, configuration with a service account or a token, a TypeScript example, and a migration section for eventstorecloud stacks.
  • Service Accounts: the Pulumi provider supports service account credentials from 0.3.0 (clientId/clientSecret, or ESC_CLIENT_ID/ESC_CLIENT_SECRET); the old eventstorecloud package accepts only a token.
  • Links to the Pulumi provider now point at the GitHub repository. pulumi.com/registry/packages/kurrentcloud does not exist until Add kurrentcloud (Kurrent Cloud) community package pulumi/registry#12837 merges, so they should move to the Registry page then.

Review map

  • docs/cloud/automation/pulumi.md — configuration and migration steps; they follow the provider's MIGRATION.md.
  • docs/cloud/access-control/service-accounts.md — the "Use with Terraform and Pulumi" section.

Verification

  • Every package name, config key, environment variable and the plugin command was checked against the provider repo. The plugin command, the service account login and the TypeScript example's resource settings were run against v0.3.0-alpha.4/v0.3.1 during CLO-612.
  • Not run: a local site build (pnpm build needs the import step).

Risk

Low: documentation only. The anchor #migrating-from-eventstorecloud assumes the theme's default heading slugs.

…port

The Pulumi provider is now published as kurrentcloud from
kurrent-io/pulumi-kurrentcloud. Rewrite the Pulumi page for the new
packages, plugin and configuration, with a migration section for
eventstorecloud stacks, and repoint the links that named the old package.

The Service Accounts page said the Pulumi provider did not accept service
account credentials; it does from 0.3.0.

High-Level Assessment

Documenting the published provider directly is appropriate. Linking to its repository rather than the not-yet-available Pulumi Registry page avoids broken links; the Registry can replace those links when its listing is live.
