What

  • Add kmrs update checks to Server Info, including release links, last-checked time, disabled, and not-yet-checked states.
  • Prefer native server identity while retaining actuator fallback for Komga and older kmrs.
  • Add paginated own-session management under Account and native all-user session management for administrators, with the existing actuator fallback.
  • Hide the server shutdown action on current kmrs, which no longer exposes HTTP shutdown.
  • Cache negative capability verdicts per instance for 24 hours, independently for server info/update checks and sessions.

Why

kmrs added native update-check and session APIs, but KMReader had no UI for them and still offered an actuator shutdown endpoint that current kmrs intentionally removed. These changes expose the new management features without dropping compatibility with older servers.

Validation

  • make format
  • make build — iOS, macOS, and tvOS passed.
  • make localize and misc/translate.py list — no missing translations.
  • On the iPhone 18 Pro simulator against kmrs 0.24.2: verified native server version/commit, up-to-date check and checked-at time, own sessions with Current state, admin sessions with owner emails, and shutdown hidden while log download remains available.
  • Did not revoke real sessions or exercise the legacy Komga actuator fallback.
