Summary

Adds workshop-content-reviewer, a knowledge-base power (no MCP servers) that reviews AWS Workshop Studio lab content for any service or topic and writes a Review.md report.

What it checks

  • Step 0: samples existing labs to learn the workshop's house conventions (weights, prerequisites, cleanup model, code block style)
  • Structure, front matter, Workshop Studio directives, code blocks, images, links
  • Prerequisites, security (secrets, least-privilege IAM), content quality, cleanup
  • contentspec.yaml and delivery modes (AWS-provided vs own-account)
  • AWS Well-Architected alignment, plus domain modules (databases, serverless, containers, compute/networking, analytics, AI/ML, security, developer tooling)
  • Findings are graded Critical / Warning / Recommendation with file references and suggested fixes

Changes

  • workshop-content-reviewer/POWER.md
  • workshop-content-reviewer/steering/review-checklist.md
  • README.md: new entry under Available powers

Testing

  • Used the power in Kiro to review Workshop Studio lab content and generate Review.md reports
  • Verified the content contains no service-specific (Aurora/RDS) assumptions

Hi @hanish-garg, thank you for your contribution!

Please note that if you haven't already, you would also need to submit your power officially at kiro.dev/powers/submit so it can be reviewed for listing in the Kiro powers registry.
