@kgv @extrawurst I'll appreciate some eyes on this one, and once this is merged I'll follow up with a (completely optional) dependency cleanup where I plan to:

• Depend on individual bevy crates instead of the umbrella bevy crate. We could measure compilation times to see if this change is impactful or not.
• Bump most crate version requirements.
• Migrate to serde-saphyr due to serde_yaml being deprecated a while ago.

I will tackle these as individual commits for ease of review. If I find any other misc changes that could be useful I'll add them to that same PR.

I was also wondering if any of you you would be able to cut a release of the fluent_content crate. It seems like the code was updated to 0.0.6 but that version never landed on crates.io.
