MindForge is a decentralized web application (dApp) designed with a robust separate frontend and backend architecture. It integrates traditional web services with blockchain technology for secure, transparent operations.
Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed on your machine:
- Node.js (v14 or higher)
- npm (Node Package Manager)
- Git
- MetaMask (or any Ethereum-compatible browser wallet)
Follow these steps to set up the project locally.
Open your terminal and run:

cd MindForge
2. Backend Setup
The backend handles the server logic, blockchain interactions via Ethers.js, and database connections.
Navigate to the backend folder:

Install Dependencies:

npm install
Configure Environment Variables: Create a new file named .env inside the backend folder and add your credentials:

Open in Browser: Navigate to the local URL provided in your terminal (usually http://localhost:5173).
