The Linux desktop entry cannot receive folders, and ordinary GUI startup ignores
--navigate. Apply the existing navigation argument to the initial window and registerinode/directorywith a single local-file argument.Normalize the startup path before opening the window so file operations receive absolute paths.
Tested a GIO desktop-entry launch into a folder containing spaces, and an isolated Linux session started with
--navigate .. Copying a filename containing spaces produced the expected absolute, percent-encoded file URI. The existing path-identity tests pass.
