Overview

AgentGuard is a governance and security layer for AI agents — giving teams the tools to monitor, audit, and stress-test agent behavior before it becomes a liability in production.

Core Features

Loading
Stage Effect on the system
Access Control Gates every request; invalid tokens never reach agent logic
Guardrail Engine Blocks or redacts unsafe input/output before it's acted on
Audit Trail Every decision — allowed or blocked — is permanently recorded
Metrics Service Aggregates logs into real-time health and performance data
Observability Dashboard Surfaces that data as charts, heatmaps, and hallucination scores
Alert Service Escalates critical events instantly via WebSocket and Slack
Red-Team Module Independently probes the same guardrails with adversarial attacks
Claude-Powered Reports Turns raw red-team results into a readable risk summary

Security Notes

  • JWT_SECRET must be at least 32 characters in production
  • Capability tokens expire in 1 hour by default
  • All audit logs are append-only — no DELETE endpoint on /audit/logs
  • Rate limiting: 1000 req / 15 min (API), 20 req / 15 min (auth)

Claude AI Integration

Without an API key, AgentGuard runs in rule-based fallback mode:

Capability Fallback behavior
PII detection Regex-only — still catches SSN, credit card, email, phone
Injection detection 20+ regex patterns
Hallucination scoring Uncertainty-phrase heuristic
Red-team reports Statistical summary (no natural-language report)

With a key, Claude claude-sonnet-4-5 enhances each feature with semantic understanding.
