Summary

  • Add Android Messages everywhere the site lists clients, including sign-in, networks, architecture, and the homepage diagram.
  • Add a Using tinyclient page for the real shortcuts, the GitHub update check, and the optional systemd user service.
  • Correct stale claims: there is an update check, Linux packages and the Windows installer already ship, and cached message search exists in tinyclient --text --search.

Test plan

  • Open /docs/networks.html and confirm Slack, Discord, Telegram, Teams, Signal, and Messages each have a section.
  • Open /docs/using.html and follow the pager from Getting started through Build from source.
  • Confirm the homepage network row and diagram include Messages.

Made with Cursor

Android Messages was missing from the public docs, and several shipped pieces (updates, shortcuts, the Linux service, cached text search) were still described as absent.

Checked the six-client naming against the tree: Messages now stands beside the other five everywhere the lists live (agent skill, AI catalog, auth, networks, architecture, contributing, llms.txt), and nothing here touches code. The new Using page's claims hold: the systemd user unit tinyclient-chatd.service is installed by packaging/linux.sh, and the roadmap row now says the window's cached-message search landed, which it just did in #12. Docs ship.
