PotPlayer Arabic & RTL Subtitle Translation Extensions (AngelScript)

This AngelScript (.as) automatically fix Arabic and Right-to-Left (RTL) subtitle rendering and punctuation placement directly inside PotPlayer during video playback!

Extension Files Included

1. SubtitleTranslate - Arabic RTL Punctuation Fixer.as:

   • Feature: Reverses start/end punctuation (., !, ?, ,, :, (), []) for Arabic & RTL subtitle lines.
   • ASS Style Protection: Preserves all ASS style override tags ({\an8...}).

2. SubtitleTranslate - Arabic RTL Unicode Control.as:

   • Feature: Injects Unicode Right-to-Left Marks (\u200F [RLM]) at line boundaries for proper RTL text flow in PotPlayer.
   • ASS Style Protection: Preserves all ASS style override tags ({\an8...}).

How to Install in PotPlayer

1. Copy the .as Extension File(s) into PotPlayer's Translate subfolder:

   • Path: C:\Program Files\DAUM\PotPlayer\Extension\Subtitle\Translate\
   • (or %APPDATA%\PotPlayerMini64\Extension\Subtitle\Translate\)

2. Enable in PotPlayer:

   • Go to Right-click menu -> Subtitles -> Subtitles Translation.
   • Select Always use.
   • Select RTL Punctuation Fixer or RTL Unicode Control Fixer
