Owner

Follow-up to #1313. It records the owner's ruling on Q16, the question Codex's eighth review round raised.

What changed

docs/ULTRAPLAN-DEED-K9-CONTRACTILES-2026-10-19.adoc only:

  • Q16 ruled. The UX standards' <app>-dustfile.sh repair-script specification (docs/UX-standards/DUSTFILE-SPECIFICATION.adoc and its companions) is the Bustfile's specification. It covers self-healing, fault-tolerant, self-diagnosing and observability-oriented fix scripts for recognised weaknesses, which are domain-specific and include partial fixes that acknowledge a failure. In the owner's words: "if something is broken, i.e. bust, that's where it comes in."
  • The Dustfile keeps exnovation. That covers reverse-engineering guidance, removal of everything, and the deliberate disabling of features ("from dust to dust").
  • Verb table and collision register are updated to these meanings.
  • P1.2 now renames DUSTFILE-SPECIFICATION.adoc and dustfile-template.sh to the Bustfile and re-points their four companion documents. This PR plans that rename; it does not perform it.
  • Status is v0.3.1, and all sixteen owner questions are now ruled.

Checks

  • asciidoctor --failure-level WARN renders clean.
  • scripts/check-canonical-names.sh origin/main passes.

No licence, SPDX or .a2ml file is touched.

P1.2 renames the UX Dustfile documents to the Bustfile.

All sixteen owner questions are now ruled.

Before / after behavior

  • observed — Modified behavior in docs/ULTRAPLAN-DEED-K9-CONTRACTILES-2026-10-19.adoc: The document version changes from v0.3.0 to v0.3.1, and the status records all sixteen owner rulings instead of fifteen with Q16 open.
  • observed — Modified behavior in docs/ULTRAPLAN-DEED-K9-CONTRACTILES-2026-10-19.adoc: Dust is expanded to include reverse-engineering guidance and deliberate feature disabling; the UX repair-script meaning is explicitly assigned to Bust rather than left as an unresolved contradiction.
  • observed — Modified behavior in docs/ULTRAPLAN-DEED-K9-CONTRACTILES-2026-10-19.adoc: The Dust and Bust verb definitions now include the expanded exnovation and self-healing/fault-fix semantics, including partial fixes that acknowledge failure.
  • observed — Modified behavior in docs/ULTRAPLAN-DEED-K9-CONTRACTILES-2026-10-19.adoc: The plan introduction now states that every referenced owner ruling is settled, removing the exception for Q16.
