The homepage proof block ("Figures from Hive's own project", index.html lines 262-269) still shows the figures written when the landing page shipped on 2026-09-23 (#12):

The site undersells Hive's own track record by ~4,200 PRs, and unlike the stories page's "By the numbers" block (refreshed in #299), the homepage figures carry no date or query, so nobody can tell when they go stale.
Why Now
The homepage now features the GitHub Universe talk (#307), so traffic is arriving at the exact block that is out of date.
Proposed Action
- Update the two figures to
9,800+and2 hours - Add an HTML comment next to the block recording the date and the queries, matching the stories page convention, so the next refresh is mechanical
