Running OMP in Monocode displays weird dots when calling tools.

@404khai Those rows aren't the tool calls themselves rendering wrong — each "icon + ." is a collapsed phase header inside an expanded delegated-run trail, and the "." is the phase's prose headline.

Verified mechanism: OMP's assistant messages interleave a bare . text part with each toolCall (DeepSeek V4 Flash emits these as filler between calls — real session files are full of them). When the run's messages are mirrored into the trail — piSubagentEvents → agent.step → agentStepBlock → buildActivityPhases — every . becomes the headline of the phase holding the next tool call. A collapsed phase header renders <kind icon> <headline>, so each tool call reads as "🔍 ." / ">_ .".

Our previous direction for OMP's noisy process trail has been folding rather than filtering — #237 folds a settled turn's interjections/status rows/delegated runs into the work trail, and #276 collapses narration plus earlier work behind one "Worked for" line. That covers the main transcript, where the same . fragments show up as bare prose rows — but it doesn't touch this headline path, so it won't fix what's in the screenshot.

A deeper fix would stop treating punctuation-only text as content, at the seam:

• buildActivityPhases / activityPhaseTitle (src/features/sessions/model/transcriptActivity.ts): if a headline's proseSummary contains no letters or digits, don't title the phase with it — fall back to workSummaryLine(steps) or demote the fragment to a step.
• piSubagentEvents / agentStepBlock: skip emitting message steps whose text is only punctuation/whitespace, so degenerate fragments never enter the trail.
• patchStreaming (src/integrations/harness/core/apply.ts): same guard on the live path — a punctuation-only delta can merge into the previous assistant block (or be dropped) instead of opening a new prose block.

Sharing the diagnosis as the fix direction rather than opening a PR right now — the path above is confirmed though if someone wants to pick it up.

Opened #763 for this, following @elijah7x's diagnosis above.

Assistant text with no letters, digits or symbols is now dropped when its message is sealed, completed, or the turn stops, so a bare . never becomes a transcript row. Subagent snapshots skip those parts, and a group headlined only by punctuation falls back to the summary of its calls. Short real replies like OK., 42 or 👍 stay.
