Adds a visual interface for browsing the memory vault, hosted from the phosphor binary itself.

  • phosphor memorygraph starts a local viewer (default 127.0.0.1:8644) showing memory entries as an interactive constellation, with live polling so new entries appear without restarting.
  • phosphor memorygraph --report FILE exports a single self-contained HTML file that opens offline with no server — useful for sharing a snapshot of the vault.
  • cosmos.gl is vendored and inlined, so the viewer and reports work with zero network access (only the optional webfont still falls back to a CDN).
  • Client-side search over ids, summaries, bodies, tags, threads, and types works identically in the live viewer and exported reports; / focuses the box, Enter jumps to the top-scoring match.
  • docs/memory/MEMORYGRAPH.md and docs/CLI.md document the viewer and the full CLI; the embedded docs corpus is regenerated so the agent can look both up via phosphor_docs.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added an interactive memory graph viewer with search, zoom, node details, relationship navigation, and activity summaries.
    • Added live graph updates with automatic polling and support for standalone offline HTML reports.
    • Added the memorygraph command with configurable host and port settings.
  • Documentation

    • Added CLI and memory graph documentation, including usage, configuration, options, and troubleshooting.
    • Updated the documentation index and configuration examples.
  • Tools

    • Added utilities for generating, serving, and exporting memory graph data.

…reports

Adds the memorygraph side tool: a cosmos.gl constellation of the agent
memory vault. The builder can serve a live view that refreshes as memory
grows, or freeze the current graph into a single self-contained HTML
report for sharing. Generated graph data and reports hold raw memory
entries and stay git-ignored.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
Embed the memorygraph viewer page and port the graph builder to Go,
served live from the local API service so the page polls fresh vault
data as memory grows.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
The HEAD probe only worked on the Python dev server; the Go router
routes strictly by method, so the page loaded but never fetched data.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
…nfig

The viewer endpoints are on by default and can be turned off with
"services": { "memory-graph": { "enabled": false } } in phosphor.json.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
…h command

The viewer no longer depends on the openai-api service: it serves its own
HTTP server on port 8644 (configurable via the memory-graph service entry
in phosphor.json), the same foreground pattern as phosphor cron.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
Go's net/http chunks streamed responses and omits Content-Length, so the
header-based probe never detected data and the viewer never booted. The
poll now compares the fetched body length and runs every 10s instead of
3s, since memory grows slowly.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
… reports

The phosphor memorygraph command serves the live constellation view and,
with --report, freezes the current graph into a single self-contained HTML
file that opens offline with no server or polling.

ஃ Generated with Phosphor
- inline cosmos.gl runtime into memory graph viewer and reports (no CDN
  dependency)
- add client-side search to the viewer (works in live and report modes)
- fix report export payload insertion colliding with inlined bundle
- add docs/memory/MEMORYGRAPH.md and docs/CLI.md; regenerate embedded
  docs corpus

📝 Walkthrough

The pull request adds an interactive memory graph viewer to Phosphor, with live and offline modes. It also adds a standalone Python graph tool, command and configuration documentation, and a CLI reference.

Changes: Integrated Memory Graph Viewer

Layer / File(s) Summary
Graph data and HTTP delivery
internal/server/memorygraph.go, internal/server/memorygraph_embed.go, internal/server/memorygraph_test.go
The server discovers a memory index, builds graph data from SQLite, serves the viewer and graph JSON, and renders offline reports. Tests cover graph construction, discovery, HTTP handlers, and report output.
Interactive graph viewer
internal/server/memorygraph/view.html
The embedded viewer renders and searches graph data, provides node details and graph summaries, and supports snapshot loading or live polling.
Command, configuration, and usage
internal/cmd/memorygraph.go, internal/cmd/root.go, docs/CLI.md, docs/CONFIGURATION.md, docs/INDEX.md, docs/memory/MEMORYGRAPH.md
The root command registers memorygraph. The command reads the configured service host and port and runs the viewer or writes a report. Documentation covers CLI usage, configuration, and viewer behavior.

Standalone Memory Graph Tool

Layer / File(s) Summary
Graph generation and standalone viewer
tools/memorygraph/build_graph.py, tools/memorygraph/view.html, tools/memorygraph/_cosmos3.d.ts, tools/memorygraph/README.md, tools/memorygraph/.gitignore, tools/memorygraph/_check.py
The Python tool builds graph data and supports JSON output, offline report generation, and HTTP serving. Its viewer renders and explores the graph. The tool also adds Cosmos API declarations, usage documentation, ignore rules, and a diagnostic script.

The new memory graph viewer renders memory content as raw HTML. A crafted memory entry can therefore run script that reads the whole memory store, both in the live viewer and in exported reports. Live refreshes also duplicate the graph and panels. The documented setting that disables the service has no effect, and graph data has weak protection against rebinding or network exposure. Fix these issues before merging.

Remove this copied declaration file, or move it to where its imports resolve.

This file is a copy of the cosmos.gl Graph declaration. It imports ./config, ./modules/GraphData, ./simulation, ./variables, and ./helper. None of these modules exist in tools/memorygraph/, and view.html uses the CDN global Cosmos without type checking. The file gives no type information, and a TypeScript run on this directory reports unresolved imports. It looks like a local investigation artifact, like _check.py and _cosmos_check.js.

1-6: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick win

Remove this debug script.

This script uses a regex to search _cosmos_check.js for mass-related symbols. It uses a path relative to the repository root, and the tool does not use it. It is a one-off investigation artifact. It also triggers Ruff E701 on line 6. Delete it together with _cosmos_check.js, unless that bundle is the vendored runtime.

Review comments at @docs/INDEX.md:
- Around line 11-13: Update the new rows in the documentation index table,
including the rows for CONFIGURATION.md, CLI.md, and CORE_PHILOSOPHY.md, to
start with a single table delimiter so each link occupies the first column and
its description occupies the second.

Review comments at @docs/memory/MEMORYGRAPH.md:
- Line 69: Update the CLI Reference link in MEMORYGRAPH.md to target ../CLI.md
instead of CLI.md, preserving the existing link text and description.

Review comments at @internal/cmd/memorygraph.go:
- Line 53: Update the address construction around addr to use net.JoinHostPort
with host and strconv.Itoa(port), ensuring configured IPv6 hosts are bracketed
correctly while preserving the existing host-and-port behavior.
- Line 108: Update the report-writing logic around os.WriteFile to create
snapshots with mode 0600 and ensure an existing destination is restricted to
private permissions as well. Preserve the current write behavior while
preventing other users from reading exported memory bodies.
- Around line 124-131: Update the memory-graph configuration handling around
store.Config().Services["memory-graph"] to honor ServiceEntry.Enabled before
applying configuration and starting the viewer. Preserve host-only entries, and
distinguish an omitted enabled value from an explicit false using the existing
configuration representation so only explicitly disabled services are skipped.
- Line 62: Prevent the server created around NewMemoryGraphHandler from exposing
/graph.json on non-loopback interfaces: reject any non-loopback
services.memory-graph.host configuration unless suitable authentication and
transport protection is enforced. Keep loopback binding supported, and apply the
validation before starting the http.Server.

Review comments at @internal/server/memorygraph.go:
- Around line 296-301: After all entries are loaded, filter graph.Edges so only
edges whose Source and Target IDs are present in seen remain, including
supersedes and decision edges; preserve the existing valid tag and thread edges.
- Around line 126-140: Update NewMemoryGraphHandler to validate the request Host
before dispatching to the mux, accepting only localhost and loopback IPv4/IPv6
values (including host:port forms) by default and returning HTTP 403 for others;
preserve an explicit configured non-loopback host if the server supports one.

Review comments at @internal/server/memorygraph/view.html:
- Line 1000: Update the fallback status message in the embedded viewer’s catch
handler to instruct users to run phosphor memorygraph instead of python -m
http.server.
- Around line 987-991: Replace the length-based change detection using liveSize
with content-based detection in the response-sync flow: parse the response once,
build a comparison key from the parsed graph while excluding generated, and
compare it with liveKey before calling boot. Preserve boot(g) and the synced
status update only for genuinely changed content.
- Around line 315-319: Update boot() to tear down the prior run before
rebuilding: abort its event listeners, destroy the existing graph, clear
generated labels and HUD/list content, then create and store the new graph in
currentGraph. Pass the active AbortController signal to boot()’s resize and
keydown listeners, preserving headings while removing generated elements and
preventing duplicate canvases, labels, panels, and timers.
- Around line 504-506: Escape every memory-derived value before inserting it
into innerHTML: add a shared esc helper and apply it to node IDs, summaries,
types, trust/recall values, tags and attribute values in the hover rendering,
plus related items, owner rows and tips, legend entries, and stream entries
identified by #drel, #own, and #str. Preserve the existing markup while ensuring
all interpolated content is HTML-escaped.

Review comments at @tools/memorygraph/build_graph.py:
- Around line 180-196: Update serve and its caller in main so the HTTP handler
rebuilds the graph whenever a GET request targets /graph.json, returning the
fresh build(db) result as JSON while preserving static handling for other paths.
Pass the existing db into serve and retain the current no-cache headers and
live-serving behavior.

Review comments at @tools/memorygraph/view.html:
- Around line 378-383: Filter g.edges to retain only edges whose source and
target exist in idx before constructing links, then size and populate the
Float32Array from that filtered collection so unresolved endpoints never become
link indices.
- Around line 198-201: Give the icon-only buttons #zin, #zout, and #zfit
descriptive aria-label values. Replace the clickable span elements #dclose and
#dback with keyboard-operable buttons while preserving their existing actions,
and reset their default button styling with background: none, border: 0, and
font: inherit.
- Around line 302-307: Make boot() idempotent by storing the active graph and
listener AbortController at module scope, destroying the previous graph and
aborting prior listeners at boot start, then clearing #labels and dynamic panel
contents before rendering. Assign the newly created graph to the stored
instance, pass the current abort signal to global addEventListener calls, and
update related boot-generation handling so repeated live refreshes leave only
one graph, HUD content set, and listener set.
- Around line 491-493: Escape every memory-derived value before inserting it
into innerHTML in the tooltip, tag, relationship, owner, and string templates,
including node IDs, summaries, types, trust/recall values, tags, thread names,
and edge endpoints. Add one shared HTML-escaping helper near the script’s top
and apply it to both text interpolations and data-tag/data-id attribute values,
or replace these constructions with textContent-based DOM creation while
preserving the existing markup and behavior.
