Types exceed pinned Node runtime

Low Severity

@types/node 26 describes Node 26 APIs, but this repo pins and ships Node 24 via .node-version, engines, and the Dockerfile. Typecheck can accept APIs that throw when that Node 24 runtime runs the code.
