i wonder if it would be a good idea to split this between vendor/hardware libraries and like pure software libraries but idk

That's a good point. I guess it depends on what the purpose of this page is. If it's to help students find documentation then it could be helpful to split. If this page is to just list the important documentation in one place, then it's probably fine as is.
