[Copilot]

Organizations can save a billing name, address, VAT ID, and VAT number from billing settings. Sequential autosaves preserve edits made during saves; navigation protects pending changes, failures retain input for retry, and clearing a field removes its stored key.

Validation at 7ba743206: frontend validation and 26 focused tests passed. Live browser/API verification confirmed all four fields persist across reloads and clearing VAT number removes only that key. Both invitation scenarios passed four times each with retries disabled. Main 89607b48b is included through normal merges.

Remaining gates: final-head hosted CI is pending, the saved-view race depends on #2691, and the Copilot CLA signature is unresolved. The earlier invitation flake did not reproduce locally; no root-cause fix is claimed. This PR remains draft.

Verification and implementation details

• A new live billing scenario uses a disposable generated user and organization, checks the real API data, reloads all four fields, clears VAT number, and verifies sibling values remain. Existing mocked browser coverage continues to cover frontend failure/retry and navigation behavior.
• The live run passed all three scenarios in 21.7 seconds; a separate invitation run passed six repetitions in 37.2 seconds, one worker and retries disabled.
• Verification used task-owned disposable resources with Elasticsearch data in tmpfs and no persistent volume. Temporary AppHost configuration was restored before commit; all runtime resources were stopped.
• Prior-head CI rejected saved-view and invitation scenarios that passed only on retry. The saved-view trace showed a successful create followed by list reads missing the new view; Make newly created saved views immediately searchable #2691 addresses that separate race and is not yet included here.
• No public API or stored-key contract changes. Billing writes remain sequential because backend handlers replace the whole organization document.

Follow-up reviewer-feedback and thermo-nuclear audit completed against live head e93c6879c3d0309d7024b4d8d510e42eaa654eb3 and origin/main dc940dd15c8d222d9764080622fdf4583d4546b8.

Feedback inventory and classification:

• Top-level comments: the coverage report is informational and green; the CLA Assistant notice is an external gate because the Copilot committer cannot sign the CLA. There is no human, Codex, or Copilot code-review finding outstanding at the current live head.

Thermo-nuclear findings:

• No remaining structural blocker or justified code change was found in the complete branch-vs-main diff.
• The invoice table is isolated in an 89-line presentational component with populated/empty/loading/error Storybook states; the billing route is 301 lines and no changed file crosses 1,000 lines.
• Serialized autosaves prevent older responses from overwriting newer input.
• Per-key writes intentionally remain sequential: the backend handlers load and save the whole organization document per request, so parallel sibling-key writes can lose updates. This is correctness orchestration, not incidental serialization.
• Missing/malformed legacy data normalizes safely, cleared values delete their stable keys, generic API access remains organization-scoped, and no API contract changed.
• The PR description’s stale test filenames and unsupported backend-test claim were corrected.

Verification:

No commit was needed for this follow-up audit. The PR is code-ready and GitHub reports it mergeable; the remaining gates are the existing draft state and pending Copilot CLA.
