Summary

Refreshes both cloud icon sets from the current official packages — Azure Azure_Public_Service_Icons (July 2026) and AWS Architecture Icons Asset Package 04302026. Adds 165 new service icons and brings the AWS set onto the 2026 palette.

Before After
Azure 622 icons, 28 categories 741 icons, 30 categories
AWS 311 icons, 26 categories 357 icons, 26 categories

What changes

  • Azure — additive. 119 new icons: the Entra rebrand set, Azure OpenAI and the Foundry family, Azure Local, Oracle Database, Azure Managed Redis, Azure DocumentDB. Two new category folders, developer-tools/ and hybrid-multicloud/, matching categories Microsoft added upstream. Existing icons untouched.

  • AWS — full re-export. The 2026 release recoloured about half the catalogue (Databases blue → magenta, Storage and IoT green → yellow-green). Adding only new icons would mix two palettes in one report, so all 257 shared icons were re-exported in place — same folder, same filename, new artwork — plus 46 new services including Bedrock, Q, Nova, SageMaker AI, HealthOmics and Security Incident Response.

  • assets/icons/README.md — records the Microsoft and AWS icon terms, notes these assets fall outside the project LICENSE, and that neither vendor endorses the project.
