[Medium impact] The reviewed changes appear safe to merge once the required exact-head live gate passes. SummaryThe PR adds a T3 route at the existing dispatch boundary.

A pinned revision such as claude-opus-4-7 matched its rolling family by prefix and was silently upgraded to the newest advertised revision. Only the bare family alias now selects the latest revision. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The JSON compiler, its launcher, the process harness, and the pointers in thirteen upstream-derived skills and playbooks are removed. Provider dispatch keeps one T3 host section that maps each normalized descriptor to delegate_task, and codex-tools.md points to it, so harness translation stays at the two existing mapping boundaries (UPSTREAM.md). Setup on T3 probes through delegate_task instead of CLI access checks and runner probes. Effort default sends empty options so the child does not inherit the parent's settings. The pin example names no model, keeping versioned model names inside the generated catalog. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

We're going to support T3 Code as a third harness, next to Claude Code and Codex, and this PR is the starting point. We'll port it to a branch in this repository with you as co-author, so it can get our live gate, and extend it there: setup on T3, and live tests from a real T3 session. Thanks for building it. We'll link the new PR here. |
Why
Pstack's dispatch rules assume a standalone Claude Code or Codex parent that starts subagents itself. In T3 Code, the host owns delegation, so the two sets of instructions conflict. This adds a T3 route at the existing provider-dispatch boundary. Pstack keeps choosing each role's model and effort, and T3's
delegate_taskstarts and tracks the agents.Closes #253.
What changed
provider-dispatch.mdgains a T3 host section. It maps each normalizedclaudeorcodexdescriptor to adelegate_tasktarget, resolves rolling aliases throughorchestrator_capabilitiessearch, and treats other providers, unadvertised models, and unadvertised efforts as dropouts. It also covers worktrees, advisory read-only lanes,/setup-pstackprobes, and the T3 records that replace runner receipts.codex-tools.mdpoints Codex parents to that section. No skill or playbook body changes. Harness translation stays in the two mapping files, as
UPSTREAM.mdasks. The standalone runner and receipts are unchanged.Verification
inherit-parentto the native tool, and Grok to a dropout. Its noted ambiguities were fixed in the section.delegate_task:claude-fable-5-1ateffort: highandgpt-6.1-solatreasoningEffort: xhigh. T3 reported back the requested model and options, statuscompleted, and the expected reply. Two more live calls confirmed that a call with notargetinherits the parent's model and options, and thatoptions: {}clears them.default. All three are fixed.bun run static, bun run typecheck, andbun run testpass.
