The comment on line 8 is misleading. The code no longer conditionally sets architecture only when needed (the if(APPLE AND NOT CMAKE_OSX_ARCHITECTURES) check was removed), but now always executes the architecture detection. Update the comment to reflect this unconditional behavior, e.g., '# Detect and set macOS architecture'.

The comment on line 17 states 'Find OpenSSL for AirPlay authentication', but AirPlayAuth was removed in this PR (no longer used). Consider updating or removing this comment since OpenSSL may still be needed for other purposes, or clarify its current usage.

The removed include for 'Discovery/DeviceDiscovery.h' may indicate that DeviceDiscovery is no longer needed. Verify that no code in this file or dependent files references DeviceDiscovery types or functionality.

[nitpick] Adding blank lines (69, 95, 103, 115) is purely formatting. While this improves readability, ensure these changes are intentional and align with the project's code style guidelines.

Removing the inheritance from DeviceDiscovery::Listener changes the class interface. Verify that deviceFound and deviceLost methods (now non-override on lines 132-133) are still called correctly, as they are no longer part of a listener pattern.

This new code extracts the server public key from TXT records, but given that RaopClient and AirPlayAuth were removed in this PR, it's unclear how this public key will be used. Verify that setServerPublicKey() is implemented in AirPlayDevice and that there's a consumer for this data in the current macOS-only implementation.

Suggested change

The setAutoReconnect method now ignores its parameter (commented as /*enable*/). Consider deprecating this method or documenting that it's a no-op on macOS, as the comment suggests the framework handles this automatically.

The runner label 'macOS' (line 11) may not be a valid GitHub Actions runner. GitHub provides 'macos-latest', 'macos-13', 'macos-12', etc. Verify that 'macOS' is a valid runner label or change it to a standard label like 'macos-latest'.

The build workflow uses 'macOS' (capital S) while the release workflow uses 'macos-latest' (lowercase). For consistency and to ensure using valid GitHub runner labels, both should use the same format. Prefer 'macos-latest' as it follows GitHub's naming convention.

- Fix use-after-free crash during app shutdown by adding proper callback cleanup
- Add clearCallbacks() method to AirPlayManager to prevent UI access during destruction
- Add safety checks in showStatus() and showError() methods using isVisible()
- Implement callback-based device discovery system to replace listener pattern
- Add DeviceDiscovery class with Mac-specific NSNetServiceBrowser implementation
- Update PluginEditor to use callback-based device discovery
- Remove RaopClient dependencies and replace with native macOS AirPlay stubs
- Fix circular dependency issues between DeviceDiscovery and PluginEditor
- Add equality operators to AirPlayDevice class
- Update CMakeLists.txt to include new DeviceDiscovery files
- Remove deleted test files from TestMain.cpp

This resolves the segmentation fault crash that occurred when closing the app
and enables proper AirPlay device discovery on macOS.
- Fix meter display: show input meters when not connected, output meters when connected
- Add test tone generation (440Hz) when connected to AirPlay for testing
- Clean up debug logging
- Audio pipeline now working correctly - meters show proper levels
- AirPlay streaming still needs implementation (separate issue)

This resolves the meter display issue and provides a working audio pipeline
for testing AirPlay streaming implementation.
