Hey, I'm Dinesh πŸ‘‹

Software Engineer building product & billing infrastructure at FlexPrice

I build software across frontend, backend, and product systems β€” with a particular interest in turning complex workflows into simple interfaces.

I'm currently working on FlexPrice, an open-source billing and pricing platform.

My work sits close to the intersection of engineering, product, and design β€” building interfaces for pricing, usage, subscriptions, credits, customers, and billing workflows.

I started out thinking software engineering was mostly about writing code.

These days, I spend just as much time thinking about why something should exist, how it should behave, how users will understand it, and what happens after it ships.

🧩 What I Work On

⚑ Product Engineering

Building and improving customer-facing and internal product experiences across the FlexPrice ecosystem.

  • Billing & pricing workflows
  • Usage-based billing interfaces
  • Subscription management
  • Customer portals
  • Credits & wallet experiences
  • Admin & operational interfaces
  • Design systems and reusable UI

🎨 Frontend Engineering

I particularly enjoy working on the part where engineering meets product design.

  • React + TypeScript
  • Next.js
  • Component architecture
  • Responsive interfaces
  • Design systems
  • Accessibility & usability
  • Frontend performance
  • API-driven applications

πŸ—οΈ Full-Stack

I also work across the stack when the product requires it.

  • Node.js & Express
  • REST APIs
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • Authentication & authorization
  • Docker
  • AWS
  • CI/CD

πŸš€ Things I've Built

πŸ’³ FlexPrice

Open-source usage-based billing & pricing platform

Working across the product experience, including:

  • Pricing & billing interfaces
  • Usage and metering experiences
  • Subscription management
  • Customer-facing portals
  • Credits & wallet workflows
  • Reusable billing UI components
  • Dark mode and product-wide UI improvements

Building software for billing is surprisingly good at teaching you that every tiny UI detail eventually becomes someone's money problem.

  • Admin dashboard
  • Employee CRUD
  • Department management
  • Role-based permissions
  • Cross-tab session persistence
  • Production deployment

Stack: React Β· Node.js Β· Express Β· MongoDB

πŸ“„ Resume Sorting AI

An NLP-based application for helping recruiters process and rank resumes against job requirements.

🧩 Open Source

I enjoy building in public, contributing to open-source projects, and experimenting with ideas that solve real product problems.

Open-source billing and pricing infrastructure.

Projects, experiments, algorithms and things I'm currently breaking.
