Links inside list items were stripped before inline conversion, so converting an article from HTML to Markdown and back silently removed hyperlinks from reference lists.
Convert supported inline elements before removing residual HTML tags in list items. Regression tests cover ordered and unordered lists, nested lists, formatted link labels, and HTML → Markdown → HTML preservation.
Validation: unit tests, mocked integration tests, contract tests, Ruff lint/format, and mypy. No authenticated note.com operations are needed for these tests.
