Implemented Vercel Web Analytics for this React + Vite project.
## Changes Made
### 1. Installed Dependencies
- Added `@vercel/analytics` package (v2.0.1) to project dependencies using pnpm
### 2. Modified Files
**src/app/App.tsx**
- Added import statement: `import { Analytics } from '@vercel/analytics/react';`
- Added `<Analytics />` component to the root App component
- Wrapped the existing `<RouterProvider />` and `<Analytics />` in a React Fragment to maintain proper JSX structure
**package.json**
- Added `@vercel/analytics` ^2.0.1 to dependencies
**pnpm-lock.yaml**
- Updated lockfile with new dependency and its transitive dependencies
## Implementation Details
Following the official Vercel Analytics documentation (https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/quickstart), I identified this as a React + Vite project and:
1. Fetched the latest installation instructions from the official Vercel documentation
2. Installed the `@vercel/analytics` package using the project's package manager (pnpm)
3. Imported the React-specific Analytics component from `@vercel/analytics/react`
4. Added the `<Analytics />` component to the root App component to enable site-wide tracking
5. Preserved the existing code structure by wrapping components in a React Fragment
## Verification
All tests passed successfully:
- ✅ TypeScript type checking: `pnpm run typecheck` - No errors
- ✅ ESLint linting: `pnpm run lint` - No errors or warnings
- ✅ Build process: `pnpm run build` - Successful compilation
- ✅ Lockfile updated: pnpm-lock.yaml properly reflects the new dependency
The Analytics component will now track page views and user interactions when deployed to Vercel. The analytics data will be available in the Vercel dashboard after deployment.
