Temple Crowd Management System – Django Backend

Overview

Backend for crowd management, queueing, booking, analytics, and admin dashboard.

• Django + Channels (WebSockets)

Setup

1. Install Python 3.10+
2. cd server
3. python -m venv venv && source venv/bin/activate
4. pip install -r requirements.txt
5. cp .env.example .env and fill in values
6. python manage.py migrate
7. python manage.py runserver

Deployment

• Use Gunicorn + Daphne for ASGI
• Configure Nginx/Apache as reverse proxy
• Set up SSL for HTTPS
