πŸ‘‹ Hi, I'm Dagwell (@dgarey)

Founder & CTO β€’ Cardano Developer β€’ IoT & Infrastructure Engineer

I build systems that connect the physical world to blockchain.

My work spans Cardano, Plutus, Haskell, smart contracts, UTXOs, IoT, edge computing, networking, and distributed infrastructure. I'm particularly interested in creating verifiable connections between real-world data and on-chain records.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» What I Build

  • ⛓️ Cardano & Plutus β€” Smart contracts, UTXO architecture, native assets, governance tokens, and on-chain applications
  • 🧠 Haskell β€” Plutus development and functional programming
  • 🌐 IoT & Edge Computing β€” Connecting sensors and physical devices to trusted digital infrastructure
  • πŸ” Data Verification β€” Cryptographically verifiable physical-world measurements and records
  • πŸ–₯️ Infrastructure β€” Networking, servers, VPNs, VoIP, Linux, and distributed systems
  • ⚑ TypeScript & Node.js β€” Backend services, APIs, and blockchain integrations
  • 🐚 Bash & Linux β€” Automation, deployment, and infrastructure management

🌱 Current Focus

I'm building technology around verifiable physical-world dataβ€”systems where measurements originate from real hardware, can be cryptographically authenticated, and ultimately become independently verifiable records on-chain.

Through Mālama Labs, I'm working on physical data oracles, distributed measurement infrastructure, and blockchain-based verification for environmental and other real-world applications.

❀️ Cardano

I love Plutus.

Give me a UTXO and a problem and I'll probably try to figure out how to make it work.

Some of my favorite things:

  • Creating Cardano Native Assets
  • Minting governance tokens
  • Designing custom UTXO architectures
  • Building Plutus smart contracts
  • Linking physical products and devices to blockchain
  • Putting real-world data on-chain
  • Exploring what can be built with tokens and on-chain metadata
  • Finding unconventional uses for Cardano's eUTXO model

🀝 Collaboration

I'm always interested in collaborating on Cardano, open-source, blockchain infrastructure, IoT, decentralized identity, environmental data, and other projects that solve interesting real-world problems.

If you're building something ambitious, let's talk.

Build it. Verify it. Put it on-chain.
