🤖 Claude-generated PR description

Raises the minimum Datasette version to 1.0a41, which is needed for the upcoming OpenTelemetry work (the plugin telemetry kit only exists in 1.0a41). There is deliberately no fallback for older versions.

Changes

  • pyproject.toml: datasette>=1.0a37 → datasette>=1.0a41
  • tests/test_debug_jobs.py: since 1.0a39, Datasette rewrites Cache-Control to private, no-store on personalized responses, so the debug frame test now checks for the no-store directive instead of an exact match. views.py still sends Cache-Control: no-store.

Changelog review (1.0a38–1.0a41)

  • The switch from httpx to httpx2, lifespan startup, background tasks/shutdown and case-insensitive request.headers don't affect this plugin.
  • The new 2,000ms default time limit applies only to execute_write. The plugin's calls to it are all single-row writes. Schema creation uses execute_write_fn, which has no limit.
  • The Cache-Control/Vary rewrite doesn't touch the app view's Content-Security-Policy. Playwright passes.

Testing

  • pytest --ignore=tests/test_playwright.py: 204 passed (1 failed on main against 1.0a41)
  • pytest tests/test_playwright.py: 12 passed

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Datasette now rewrites Cache-Control to "private, no-store" on
personalized responses, so the debug frame test checks for the no-store
directive instead of an exact header value.
