Does not populate anything in the logs. Deleted the log first and re-ran the search process and log file did not get created.

I've updated the database in 00309e1

Due to the way the extension works, I need to update the extension database manually to keep with new additions so it will not be always up to date. A better solution is likely in the future if something can be worked out with Co-Optimus developers but this will be an issue for the time being

Ah right. I think I got this game on itch.io before it was released on other platforms (like Steam) only recently.

It doesn't matter where the game is released, the issue is that the database needs to be updated to keep with latest changes. This game in particular was added the 20th so I needed to update the database to make it available in the extension

I've released a new update that updates the database, sorry for the delay.

Regarding documenting how it's done, I use some scripts I made that scrapes the website to obtain the information. Unfortunately I'm not comfortable with publicly sharing them because they could be used maliciously and also the site owners might not be okay with it, I hope it's understandable.

Also, I suspect this should be a separate issue but it's not able to find Broforce either, which is old and in the database already.

I also tried renaming it to all caps as it is in there, and same. How is the matching done?

Ah I fixed it! I skimmed the code and saw this here: game.Platforms[0].SpecificationId.

It's using the first platform's string which was Mac in this case. I removed mac/linux from the options in my metadata and it worked.

This was imported via the official Steam importer. I bet there's other cases of it happening. Should I open a separate issue to track this?

I see, no wonder this was happening. I think it would make sense to show results for all game platforms rather than just the first one. For automatic batch matching it should also check all platforms until it matches one too.
