Engineering-minded developer building open-source software,
exploring complex systems and turning ideas into working products.
I'm an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of León, Spain, with a strong interest in software engineering, open-source development and the design of complex technical systems.
My work extends beyond a single discipline. I develop applications, explore operating systems, work with infrastructure and build tools that connect different technologies.
I'm particularly drawn to projects that require understanding the bigger picture: how individual components interact, how architectural decisions affect performance and how technical complexity can be translated into intuitive software.
I care about clean architecture, performance, interoperability and long-term maintainability. I also believe that good engineering and good design should go hand in hand.
Most of my work is open source, driven by curiosity and a desire to build things that are genuinely useful.
A selection of projects I'm developing and maintaining.
|
A collection of custom Home Assistant dashboard components focused on interface consistency, performance and usability.
|
An independent Linux desktop project exploring system integration, native experiences and a cohesive computing environment.
|
|
A native music application for Linux, bringing multiple music sources together in a unified GNOME experience.
|
An open-source image editor exploring professional creative workflows, native performance and document interoperability.
|
|
A framework for creating structured academic material through research, verified sources and AI-assisted workflows.
|
A Home Assistant integration connecting energy consumption, billing and contract information to local automation systems.

I approach development as an iterative engineering process.
Understand the problem.
Good solutions start with understanding the underlying system, its constraints and the reasons behind its behavior.
Design for change.
Clear boundaries, reusable components and maintainable architecture matter more than short-term convenience.
Measure before optimizing.
Performance improvements should be guided by profiling, benchmarks and real-world behavior.
Build for people.
Technical quality should translate into reliable, responsive and intuitive experiences.
Keep learning.
I see every project as an opportunity to explore new technologies, challenge assumptions and improve my understanding.
I believe open-source development is one of the best ways to learn, collaborate and build better software.
Beyond my own projects, I'm interested in contributing to existing ecosystems, learning from established codebases and improving interoperability between technologies.
Contributions, technical discussions, bug reports and constructive feedback are always welcome.
