…here `research/bands/ladder.py` is pinned by SHA-256 as a source identity of two certificates on `chatgpt/drive-github-hardening-20260919`: `research/parallel/h3/candidate.json` and `research/rn/candidates/inner_wedge_20260920_v1.json`. Their `tools/twelve_project_check.py` fails closed on a mismatch. Nothing in this repository said so. Commit 4cc0f7a added a NON-CERTIFYING docstring to `AdjacentBand.label` and two literal lines to `format_report`, moving the file from 9ea57670…/26286 B to 14d1eeb3…/26721 B, and broke a binding no checker here could see. The damage was invisible on either branch alone and surfaced only on a merge: 58 failures and 4 errors, 19 of them cascading from that one line, against 3,273 passing. An AST diff over both revisions, docstrings stripped, shows the only non-docstring change in the file was two `out.append(<string literal>)` calls in `format_report`. No expression, constant, bound or return value moved. So the cheapest correct fix is to stop changing the file, not to ask the other lane to re-pin a provenance binding over a labelling edit. The bytes are restored exactly. The label moves to `DECLARED` in `tools/noncertifying_check.py`, which is the mechanism that exists for a float site whose reason is recorded outside the file, and the reason recorded there is more informative than the docstring was: it names both pinning files and says why the label cannot live in the source. `tests/test_noncertifying.py` gains the control that would have caught this: the file's digest and byte count are asserted against the pinned values, with a failure message saying that re-pinning both JSON files on the hardening lane is the remedy and that editing the constant here is not -- the constant is not the authority, their pins are. A mutation control proves one appended byte fails it. This establishes no mathematics. A byte pin is identity, not correctness: it says these are the bytes those certificates were produced against, and nothing about whether the certificates hold. No claim, premise, obligation or gate moved; `OBL-H5-JETMOD` stays OPEN and the rung ladder is untouched. 21/21 checkers pass; 1,927 passed, 1 skipped. Restore source bytes bound by hardening certificates; keep noncertifying declaration outside the pinned source. Engineering/source identity only.
Source-exposed engineering by OpenAI/Codex. Exact tested and nonauthor-reviewed tree 0f61171 (local candidate 63a71df9bab67d9228081bd6f969436a467c5d8f). Preserve frozen sources, historical grades, conditional truth, and scientific holds. Add rung/pinned-input refusals and independently effective negative controls. Local full suite: 2000 passed, 1 documented skip; 25 workflow/precommit checks passed. Same-provider technical review, organizational-independence credit 0. Isolated post-cut draft proposal only; no canonical/default integration or scientific acceptance.
Apply the existing certifying-grade family to the same both-column/transitive premise contract and reject unknown/malformed D1 operational grades. Preserve all claim/premise/source records, historical labels and scientific holds. Exact reviewed local source f5666a1fd4d9cdbea2b209b80d6e1f378685cd5d; full suite 2128 passed/1 documented baseline skip, focused260 normal/-O and25 workflow groups. Nonauthor affected-delta review and independent integrator controls completed. Hosted successor checks remain required. Actual implementation: OpenAI/Codex under Dylan Roy's delegated repair request; zero organizational-independence credit; scientific effect NONE.

Adds docs/ELDER_EVENT_TETHER_20261031.md: a statement-level proposal and dependency inventory for connecting PairLawInterface.p (a free number in the Lifetime spec; Math-#543's constant-one countermodel) to the actual Q^W probability of the ordinary elder death event. It names five tether conditions, shows that tying p to the event without tying Q to the field's canonical whole-field regression law still admits the #543 inhabitant, and inventories the existing Math- artifacts for each condition. The whole-field regression kernel has no Lean predecessor. No theorem is proved, nothing is compiled, and no status changes. Scientific effect: NONE. Credit 0. OBL OPEN. Adds docs/retro/RETRO_SOURCE_RESOLUTION_01CZ_20261031.{md,json} and the
read-only resolver. Of the 126 has_source=false units, 105 contain
in-unit mathematical text; of 520 declared {path, git_blob} references,
484 resolve on main, 29 in path history, and 7 are unresolved. Six of
the seven belong to the elder lower-bound packet
(window_multiplicity_laws_20260928), whose algebra.py was blocked from
publication and was not found in any Git branch, Drive or Dropbox
search. The ledger is not edited.
Identity resolution only. Scientific effect: NONE. Credit 0. OBL OPEN.

The direct elder lower bound (Theorem E1, Math- window_multiplicity_laws ELDER_LOWER_AND_DENSITY_GAP.md) rests on finite algebra whose original algebra.py was blocked from publication and is unrecoverable from the repositories. This independently re-derives the displayed identities and inequalities, (E3) and (E5)-(E7), the pin Hessians, the extra-saddle height and two README identities, in exact Fraction arithmetic. Six CLI-invoked mutants are each rejected on their intended check. Identity checks only; no probabilistic step of E1 is checked. Scientific effect: NONE. Credit 0. OBL OPEN. Each proposed binding matches a node's GRAPH.json fingerprint to the exact bytes of a named file at Math- main 19a55750. The repository's graph_binding_check.py accepts all 12 and rejects a corrupted sha256. The other four (a register flag, a status-row stand-in and two label tokens) have no byte identity and stay unbound. Nothing is edited. Identity only. Scientific effect: NONE. Credit 0. OBL OPEN. Adds experiments/whole_field_regression_kernel_20261101: a standalone Lean package (Lean 4.34.1, Mathlib d13f23b7, the Math- pins) that generalizes the finite-dimensional regression kernel to a residual field T -> R with the product sigma-algebra. The kernel is specified at every pin value; it is a conditional law under pin/residual independence; and finite-restriction independence implies whole-field independence via the measurable-cylinder pi-system. Standard axioms only; leanchecker replay passes; three negative controls and a sorry control behave as intended (run_checks.sh). The actual Gaussian field's independence beyond Fin k coordinates, a smooth-function Borel sigma-algebra and the elder indicator remain open. The tether doc's inventory row and step 1 are updated. Change and purpose
Adds one document,
docs/ELDER_EVENT_TETHER_20261031.md. It answers the first item of the owner's 31 October assessment: connect the abstract selection estimate back to the actual measurable elder-rule pair event. Scope: mathematics, statement-level only.PairLawInterface.pin the Lifetime spec (Math-f2508f7f) is a free number. Its own docstring says nothing ties it to the field or to the elder relation. Math-GB-8g: D1-D2 lifetime/remainder retro bindings (12 unbound, NOT A RESULT) #543's constant-one inhabitant makes that consequence formal. Theorems B and C consume the actualElderPartnerrelation; Theorem A does not. Nothing formal links the two ends.p = E_Q[W e]/Zwithethe actual elder indicator, plus an UNCOMPILED Lean shape for discussion.ptoeis not enough. IfQis any law with the right pins, a Dirac mass at a cap-type function givesp ≡ 1, which is the GB-8g: D1-D2 lifetime/remainder retro bindings (12 unbound, NOT A RESULT) #543 inhabitant again. So the indispensable condition is T2:Qmust be the field's canonical whole-field regression law (display (12) ofPERSISTENCE_BRIDGE.md§4.1). Under T2, display (16) of that file (if its proof holds) makesp ≡ 1impossible, which is the natural negative control for any future formal tether.19a55750with blob ids: C291 field realization, the C263 Field adapter, C292, test: detect stale active-board routing against AGENTS #487, the finite-dimensionalgaussianRegression_hasCondDistrib, and the d=2 endpoint kernelsourcePhysicalEndpointKernel_eventually_hasCondDistrib. The whole-field regression kernel and the measurability ofehave no Lean predecessor. They are the first two formalization targets, in that order.Second commit: retroactive source resolution (

None of them is in any Git branch, Drive or Dropbox search.Third commit: exact successor check of the elder lower-bound algebra (

8aacf47e)Adds
experiments/whole_field_regression_kernel_20261101/, a standalone Lean package pinned to Lean 4.34.1 and Mathlibd13f23b7(the Math- pins). It is step 1 of the tether's §7, and condition T2 in structural form.T → ℝ(product σ-algebra). The kernel is specified at every pin value, including probability-zero pins.R + mY + c (X − mX)has that kernel as its conditional law given the pins.Checks (
