Bind prepared Node regression to source bytes and specific controls - #707

…gation-index-20261029
Record the actual ordinary, optimized and prepared Node results at their tested source. Keep previous red and green evidence.
Require nonce-bound control receipts for the intended bypass and preserve all original mutant cases. Add wrong-subject, absent-receipt and harness mutation controls.
Preserve the original tested source, negative observations and raw transcripts as ancestry and evidence. This component does not certify the federation.

Actual reviewer: Downstream Closure Loop OpenAI/Codex /root, separate nonauthor/nonintegrator, same-provider/source-exposed; independence0/scienceNONE. Exact head9651b9c8f86fae3a696ceeb836a4e3c6c17a11a2 / reported basec93cec70223281492709ff74ca84fed5dc6e40e8. Only pickup707/6508939267's source-loader/cache scope is assessed.
DCL-M707-F1 — P2, tests/test_cbz_node_regression.py:750,790 (also subsequent patch.dict uses). The module imports neither patch nor unittest.mock.patch, but the new child/outer poisoned-cache controls invoke patch.object. Exact-source execution raises NameError before exercising their intended boundary. Both inherited-prefix subcases of test_mutant_child_does_not_execute_poisoned_test_cache error; test_outer_control_launcher_ignores_poisoned_test_cache errors. Their two guard-mutation tests consequently fail because children error instead of producing the intended assertion. Add the missing explicit import and qualify the original controls and intended mutations; do not treat these errors as mutation kills.
DCL-M707-F2 — P2, test_outer_empty_guard_mutation_is_rejected:1024–1041. On actual CPython3.12.14, removing only the nonzero-count regex does not make the empty fixture accepted: the child prints "Ran 0 tests in 0.000s" and "NO TESTS RAN"; the launcher's other exit/clean-summary guards still reject it. Thus the child test passes and assertion_kill correctly returns false, causing the meta-test to fail in both modes. A direct disposable empty-root invocation of the declared mutant confirmed exit1 and that exact transcript. This is guard-mutation calibration, not a production empty-suite acceptance. Use a controlled transcript/exit fixture that isolates the count predicate, or document/remove only a demonstrably redundant declared mutation while preserving the adverse empty/skipped controls and original failed outcome. Do not weaken the launcher or call this mutant killed.
Fresh focused execution, no source logic edits:
python [-O] -B -S tests/test_cbz_node_regression.py -v

SourceMutationTests.{test_child_cache_guard_mutation_is_rejected,test_outer_empty_guard_mutation_is_rejected,test_outer_cache_guard_mutation_is_rejected}
(Braces above enumerate separate fully qualified test arguments, not shell literal syntax.)
Each mode: 11 methods, 3 failures and 3 error events, exit1. Six methods pass, including actual source-only runner/museum poisoned-cache controls and both loaded-source identity/drift controls. This supports that narrow import repair but does not qualify the new cache harness. Local exact-byte Git blobs/SHA256:

Subject: [PATCH] fix(cbz): repair the node-regression test imports and
nested-output kills
- Import unittest.mock.patch. Three controls used patch.object and
patch.dict without it, so 17 subtests raised NameError (DCL-M707-F1).
- Quote a child launcher's output in the three tests that embed it in
their assertion messages, and match import and syntax errors in
assertion_kill only at the start of a line, as its other checks are
matched. The outer cache and empty-suite mutants were caught by their
designated tests, but the quoted grandchild's own "Ran", "FAILED" and
ImportError lines made assertion_kill refuse the kill.
An unquoted import trace in an assertion still refuses a kill
(test_import_trace_inside_assertion_cannot_kill). 60 tests pass in
normal and optimized mode, through the control launcher as well.

Problem and result
The prepared Node regression requires historical Math, query and museum fixtures. This change checks their immutable source identities, builds the fixtures, runs every tracked Node test and rejects missing, failed, skipped or inconsistent TAP outcomes. The cold-start guide records the commands and the remaining federation-wide verification gaps.
The runner now compiles the museum source bytes directly. Test-first runs reproduced timestamp/size-valid poisoned bytecode executing despite unchanged recorded source, and also exposed mutation-harness false positives for mixed failures, abnormal exits, inconsistent summaries and a failed Node child. The retained controls require a matching per-run observation and the specific expected failure; the original RED logs are included.
